Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds Riviera Maya

Eat, drink and be merry! Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds return to the beach in Riviera Maya, Mexico for the third installment of their annual Caribbean getaway. This four- or five-night, all-inclusive concert vacation features three nights of music on the beach in one of the most beautiful parts of the world. Our one of a kind concert venue is only a few feet away from the Caribbean, providing an incredible backdrop for this very special, and very intimate event. The weekend’s performances take place at the Barceló Maya Grand, an all-inclusive resort sitting on a mile-long stretch of white sandy beach. You can reserve a room at the Barceló, or choose to stay at one of our other hand-selected resorts. Each resort features a variety of restaurants, multiple bars, and daily activities, all included in your package price. Spend your days lounging by the pool and beach, or explore the nearby town of Tulum. Partake in thrilling off-site adventures or sleep off the night before while soaking up some sun.

Riviera Maya

The Riviera Maya is a famous section of coastline along Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, stretching from Puerto Morales in the North, to Tulum in the South. Surrounded by the clear blue waters of the Caribbean, the Riviera Maya is a place rich in history and culture, built upon breathtaking and diverse landscapes. From jungle to coast, witness magnificent barrier reefs, ancient Mayan ruins and more. There is no shortage of sites to see or adventures to embark on throughout this spectacular region of Mexico. Built in the 13th century, the coastal city of Tulum was once a thriving trading center of the Mayan civilization. It was one of the last cities that remained inhabited by the Mayans (surviving 70 years after the Spanish occupation) and is one of the most well-preserved archaeological sites in the Yucatan. Nowadays, Tulum is famous for its sugar white sandy beaches, crystal waters plus a great restaurant and bar scene boasting authentic local cuisine. Every year, visitors flock to Tulum to explore the ruins and wander along the gorgeous beaches. Tulum is a can’t-miss destination during your Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds Riviera Maya trip.

The Venue

Each night, concertgoers will make their way to our one of a kind venue. Once inside, guests will experience traditional and not-so-traditional entertainments as they wander to our main stage, which sits on a beautiful stretch of beach just feet from the Caribbean. Regional fare including tacos and nightly rotating vegetarian options will be provided mixed with some of our favorite snacks and desserts. Roaming wait staff will keep the beverages flowing all night long so you don’t even need to move for your next beverage! One of a kind custom event merchandise will be available for purchase so you can take a piece of the beach home with you (figuratively, not literally, leave the beach where it is please!).

Each property is located along the Caribbean Sea and offers a variety of magnificent rooms, relaxing pools, on-site restaurants, and bars, as well as plenty of activities on both land and sea. Whether you’re looking to tan on the beach or cool off by the pool, select resorts offer a selection of exciting activities for you to take part in during the day, free of charge. Our full list of daily activities will be announced in the coming months, but here’s a taste:

Tequila Tastings – sample and learn about Mexico’s favorite adult beverage
Craft Beer Tastings – learn about our local partners at Akumal Brewery while wetting your lips with their full collection of beers
Bowling – battle it out to become the ‘kingpin’ of Riviera Maya. There can only be one. New addition: Late Night Bowling!
Daily Yoga Sessions – early morning yoga in an open air environment
Beach Games – ladder ball, corn hole and more will be provided for your gaming pleasure
Late Night Karaoke – “oooooh, we’re living on a prayer”
Beach Jam Session – let’s make some noise together. Bring your instrument of choice (or use one of ours) for this special staff-lead jam session on the beach.
